Eyedz9 Creative Services, LLC (“Eyedz9,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a one-person creative studio based in Mission Viejo, California. This policy explains what personal information we collect through eyedz9.com (the “Site”), why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. We do not sell personal information, we do not run advertising or analytics trackers on this Site, and we collect only what we need to answer your message and do the work.

1. Scope

This policy covers the Site and the business communications that follow from it (email, proposals, project files, invoicing). It does not cover third-party sites we link to, or separate products operated under their own terms, such as AdForge Studios, which publishes its own privacy policy.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us

When you submit the contact form on the Site, we collect the fields you complete: your name, email address, company or brand name (optional), the project type you select, and the contents of your message. If you email us directly, we receive whatever you include in that message and any attachments.

Information collected automatically

Our hosting provider and our form provider keep standard server and security logs, which may include your IP address, browser and device type, referring page, and the date and time of your request. These logs exist to keep the Site running, prevent abuse, and block spam submissions. We do not use them to build a profile of you.

Embedded content

Some pages embed video from YouTube using the privacy-enhanced youtube-nocookie.com domain. Those embeds load only after you press play. When they load, Google receives your IP address and player interaction data under Google’s Privacy Policy, which we do not control.

3. Cookies and tracking

The Site sets no first-party cookies and runs no analytics, advertising, or cross-site tracking scripts. Because we do not track you across sites, we do not respond to Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signals differently — there is nothing to opt out of. Embedded YouTube players may set their own storage once you play a video.

4. How we use your information

• To read, respond to, and follow up on your inquiry.
• To scope, quote, produce, and deliver creative work you engage us for.
• To send project communications, invoices, and payment reminders.
• To keep the Site secure, prevent spam and fraud, and diagnose technical problems.
• To meet our legal, tax, and accounting obligations.

We do not use your information for automated decision-making or profiling, and we do not send marketing email to people who only submitted a project inquiry unless they ask to hear from us.

5. Legal bases (EEA/UK visitors)

Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on: performance of a contract (or steps taken at your request before a contract) to respond to inquiries and deliver work; legitimate interests to secure the Site, prevent abuse, and run our business; and legal obligation for tax and record-keeping. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time.

6. Who we share information with

We do not sell, rent, or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share information only with service providers who process it on our behalf, under contract, and only as needed to run the business:

• Formspree — processes and relays contact-form submissions to our inbox.
• Website hosting and CDN — serves the Site and maintains security logs.
• Email, file transfer, and cloud storage providers — carry our correspondence and hold project files.
• Invoicing, accounting, and payment processors — handle billing for engaged clients.

We may also disclose information when required by law, subpoena, or valid legal process, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of business assets — in which case we will notify affected clients.

7. Confidentiality of client work

Briefs, assets, unreleased campaigns, and anything else you send us are treated as confidential. We do not publish client work in our portfolio without permission or public release, and we do not feed confidential client materials into third-party AI tools in a way that permits those tools to train on them. Where AI tools are used in production, we use business or API tiers configured to exclude customer content from model training.

8. Data retention

Contact-form submissions and related correspondence are kept while a conversation or relationship is active and for up to three years afterward, so we can pick up where we left off. Project files and contracts are kept for the life of the engagement plus any period required for legal, tax, or warranty purposes — generally seven years for financial records. Server and spam-filter logs are kept for a short rolling window set by our providers. We delete or anonymize information when it is no longer needed.

9. Security

We use reputable providers, encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), access controls, and multi-factor authentication on business accounts. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not send passwords, financial account numbers, or other sensitive data through the contact form.

10. Your rights

California (CCPA/CPRA)

California residents may request to know what personal information we have collected, request a copy of it, request correction of inaccuracies, and request deletion, subject to legal exceptions. In the preceding twelve months we have collected identifiers (name, email, IP address), commercial information (project inquiries), and internet activity (server logs) for the business purposes described above. We have not sold or shared personal information, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

EEA, UK, and other jurisdictions

You may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to our processing of your personal information, to receive it in a portable format, and to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

How to exercise them

Email jason@eyedz9.comwith the subject line “Privacy Request.” We will respond within 45 days (CCPA) or one month (GDPR), and may need to verify your identity — typically by confirming you control the email address associated with the information. An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf with written proof of authorization.

11. International transfers

We operate in the United States, and our service providers store and process information there. If you contact us from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to and processed in the U.S., where data protection law may differ from your own. Where required, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent transfer mechanism through our providers.

12. Children

The Site is a business-to-business service and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

13. Third-party links

The Site links to third-party sites such as LinkedIn, YouTube, and adforgestudios.com. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices. Review their policies before providing information.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our business or the law changes. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the current version. Material changes will be noted on this page. Continued use of the Site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
